Think about the following considerations when deciding what you need in the short-term and long-term:

# of doors you need to secure
# of doors you may need to secure in the future (if you’re facility will grow, a cloud-based solution is ideal as it is easily scalable)
What type of door you’ll be using—this dictates which types of locks and entry systems to use.
Who will be entering those doors?
Will this be a new facility or retrofit?
Do you already have electric strikes on your doors?
Do you have already have access to a PoE switch?
